Sam's lived well and created many memories over the years, so he’s content with relaxing in his old age. He's grown accustomed to the routine of nursing home life. He meets Mary, a young volunteer who is attractive, attentive, and kind. She's a bit of a loner, but she opens up to Sam and reveals the accident that has made her reluctant to have children.
Sam realizes the hold a memory can have on
