Jerry L. Maynard, II is an elected official in Tennessee and a leader in the National Democratic Party. In 2005, Maynard was selected to serve as the Deputy Chairman of the Tennessee Democratic Party. He was elected to the Tennessee Democratic Executive Committee for Senate District 19 and in 2008, Maynard was elected to serve on the Democratic National Committee's Standing Committee on Credentials representing President-elect Barack Obama. Maynard went on to serve as a delegate for President Obama in 2012. Maynard currently serves as Chairman of the Finance Committee for the Tennessee Democratic Party and is the Senior Pastor of two Tennessee churches located in Nashville and Clarksville.
