- Queen Elizabeth's Wizard
on Nov. 06, 2013
Totally cool! K. G. McAbee absolutely captures Elizabeth's world in tone, style, and delivery. And some wow, wizards and (an original twist on) zombies seem perfectly at home in it!
I hope K. G. returns to this story's world and brings us more.
- Lady Abigail and the Morose Magician
on Nov. 22, 2013
Fun. Witty. Engaging. K.G. McAbee has done it again. Lady Abigail and the Morose Magician pleases on many levels!
- Ray Was Right

When explorers from Earth finally do step foot on Mars and look around, this is what they want to find. And what is that? Read K. G. McAbee's great tale to find out.
- Tales from Omega Station: Underworld
on Nov. 24, 2013
A classic "cat and mouse" story only better, because it is set in space and K. G. McAbee delivers enough aliens and intrigue to fill a galaxy.
- E. U. C. Bureau
on Nov. 25, 2013
A chilling glimpse of a possible, even likely world of tomorrow that I hope we can avoid.
- Mightier Than the Sword
on Nov. 29, 2013
Short and too the point... no pun intended. This a wonderfully creepy read! The only way it could have been better was if it had been written with a fountain pen! (Read it to find out what I mean.)
- Tales from Omega Station: Betrayal

- When the Last Light Fades: Three Stories
on April 24, 2014
I just finished K.G. McAbee's "When the Last Light Fades". The first story, "Our Daily Bread" reminds us that not everything we desire is in our best interests. Then, "This Little Piggy..." All I can say is "ouch"! Be careful how you treat people.
And lastly... "Bitter Waters". I did not see this superb tale coming. I t is a well written, envisioned, and fitting back story of a major character from the greatest horror novel of all time. I loved it! You will too!
- The Human Insurgency
on April 29, 2014
A war of resistance rages around the world. Can Jin hope to lead the Chinese to Earth's first victory against the alien invaders and, if so, at what cost? Meanwhile, a war of another sort takes place high above the global chaos, aboard the invader's mother ship... an internal war waged by a young woman named Skye.
J. Kirsch's "The Human Insurgency" is a taught, engaging story. Writing in a lean crystalline style, Mr. Kirsch delivers a tale of global spectacle and human intimacy.
Should the author ever revisit this world, you can be certain that I will come along for the ride.
