Biography
John W. Schouten is a writer and a poet, who has also worked, with varying levels of distinction, as a ski instructor, a machinist, a mental health worker, an optician, a roofer, a Spanish teacher, and, most recently, a marketing professor and consumer researcher. John describes his academic research as an anthropology of the American dream. 'Notes from the Ligthning God' is his first novel.
