Biography

Author Jonathan Timmons is the fifth out of six children. He is very vocal about the need for other children to learn about Autism. Having a sibling with Autism isn't always easy and, at times, can be scary. Jonathan shares what it is like to have a sibling with Autism and hopes that as people learn more, they will also learn to be kind, patient, and treat others with respect.

When did you first start writing?
I barely remember my childhood...at least anything before the age of four. So, I'd have to say my first book, "Autism & Us: The Tale of Two Brothers" - unless you count when I learned how to write my name when I was two.
What's the story behind your latest book or series of books?
My brother has Autism. I want people to know what it's like and to learn how to treat people with Autism.
