Dr. Reggie Chandra is the inventor of InSync, the fastest-growing and most-deployed adaptive traffic signal system in the United States. Trained as a traffic engineer, Reggie served in the public sector most of his career. The technology that drives traffic signals is about 30-50 years behind times. A single smartphone has more smarts that the entire technology that operates traffic signals in a large metropolitan area. Frustrated with the lack of tools (and technology) for the traffic engineer to synchronize traffic signals, Reggie quit his day job and invented InSync.
