Kameko Murakami is an author and oddball who lives, works and breathes in a somewhat-haunted Victorian in San Francisco that she shares with a dog which appears out of thin air (but only when it wants to shower in her bathroom), a sometimes roommate who is fond of breaking and entering, and far too many dusty books to even bother with counting.
She is the author of numerous author's bios for Smashword's Kameko Murakami Page, most of which ended up reading like postings on an internet dating website.
Kameko Murakami also likes walks along the beach, making breakfast in bed and loving the same kind of obscure bands that you do.
She used to date a Serbian with a handlebar mustache. She doesn't have the Serbian anymore, but she does still have his motorcycle, so there is that.
When not tirelessly working on making the world a better place through the power of naps and general laziness, she sits at her antique desk, alone with her thoughts, writing by the light of a single candle, producing stories to entertain and delight, if you're into that kind of thing.

Kristin was seventeen with everything to live for.
Then she jumped off the Golden Gate and was never seen again.
Now another girl is about to jump, and the only person she will talk to is Kristin's mother.
She says she knows about folds in reality, of places of beauty and beasts not of this world.
Kristin has fallen into it all.
And a leap of faith is all that is needed to join her.
The Color of Ash
Beth has the Midas touch, only instead of gold, everything she touches turns to ruin. Stone crumbles between her fingers. Buildings collapse as she brushes past. The earth burns away beneath her feet. And the people she loves… what happens to them is worse than anything they could imagine.
Before, she was just another face in the crowd.
Now she is the destroyer of worlds.
She is a shadow, a wisp of fog. She is an angel of mercy, visible only to the dying, come to ease the terror of their passing.
She would give anything to be seen by the living.
But when the only man who can see her deals in rope and knives and shallow graves, will the price she pays be measured in the lives of innocents?
Would she try to become human by trading away her humanity?

Oh, this is ever so short and ever so sweet, like a quick tryst in an elevator between floors or a fiery hot moment stolen between shelves in a library.
I need a cold drink now.
Also, I need to go dress shopping.
Right this minute.

This was a wonderfully creative spin on the serial killer genre, and I was hooked from the very first sentence.
Senseless murder! Dirty secrets! Secret societies! Sexy parties!
It's like every noir story I've ever enjoyed... except with flower-headed people.
I'll never look at my rose bushes in quite the same way again.
Especially when it's time to prune them back.

If you only read one lovely and creepy talking action figure romance story this year, this had better be the one. Funny, touching, disturbing, and more than just a little bit awesome, this tale makes me wish that I had a little ninja in my toy box as well.
Pardon as I swoon.

Another collection of spicy and wicked vignettes from the life of Bianca Noire, my favorite writer of squirmy sexiness.
She's a romantic, Miss B, and it shows in this collection.
A romantic with a filthy streak the size of the Mississippi River.
Purchase it now! This instant! Fans of steamy goodness will not be disappointed!
