Love and Decay, Kane's Law on Jan. 14, 2014

"Please stop thinking I'm a monster. Please see something that nobody else sees" ~ those two sentences just broke my heart. I am one of those idealistic people who believes that no matter how horrible someone appears there just HAS to be SOMETHING redeeming about them. Something that can make me feel something other than disgust for them. I have to believe Rachel is one of those people too, especially after reading Kane's POV. He is not someone you want to like, but this episode goes past the surface Kane that we see, and exposes a little bit of the humanity he still has left. You may still not like him at the end of this, but at least you'll understand him so much better.

OH.MY.GOSH. This is the single funniest book I have ever read! Rachel had me in stitches throughout most of this episode, and I just love it! The boys are so innocent in so many ways. I love their shock and outrage over the girls assumptions about what their intentions were. I love that their humanity is so intact, even after seeing so much evil and gone through so much hurt. Rachel always brings the best to her writing, and this is definitely one of my most favorites.
