Kevin P Pearson

Biography

Kevin lives in sleepy Northumberland, England, in a small modified shed specifically designed to protect the environment. Due to sheer numbers of homeless folk invited in, he often stays outside. If it rains or grows too cold, he sleeps soundly under a big black bin bag, warmed down to his tiny toes knowing he’s helped others survive an increasingly harsh world.
At 5am every morning he tours the countryside on a battered old scooter, selflessly helping senior citizens with shopping and saving innocent kids from burning buildings. Reading, writing, advising multinational companies on important building projects, exercising to Olympic standards and wild bouts of fibbing fill his days.
Kevin wisely spends his spare time dreaming of marrying enchanting Kristin Kreuk of TV’s ‘Smallville’ fame. Perhaps if everyone prays for him his greatest wish may finally come true!

Smashwords Interview

Why did you first start writing?
I was tired of doing boring, stale jobs since my teens. Early grey hairs triggered long dormant desires to create and contribute to the literary world in a constructive way. Being an avid reader in my youth, I've attempted to add touches of magic to my tales, hopefully stimulating readers imagination just as authors did to mine back then. Kind of like my own little tribute to their hard work. Though challenging and time consuming, writing's really quite fulfilling too.
What are you working on next?
Lots! Final book in my magical Pollyanna trilogy 'Our Secret Circles' finishes Pollyanna's journey from fledgling ghost hunter to inheriting great fairy power. A companion piece to this series 'Tales of Lenora' reveals how popular characters from the fairy world of Lenora settled there. A sequel to 'The Legend of Brandice May' named: 'The Ghastly Tricks of Baron Von Stuttenholffen,' continues young Lawrence's weird adventures after banishing an evil witch. A short tribute to HP Lovecraft 'The Castle in the Mist' I'm writing in his older style, though probably nowhere near as good. I've years of other weird ideas too. Not all are supernatural either, so if i'm lucky to pick up some loyal, patient fans, I promise there's tonnes more to come!
