Judith Bandidt
Biography
Judith is a published author of computer software, educational texts, prose works, poetry and short stories. She has compiled a number of community histories, and her poetry, short stories and articles have been included in a range of publications. Judith is the editor of an on-line writers’ magazine for the Society of Women Writers Queensland and a founding member of the Pente Poets whose anthology, Fridays at Flaxton, is available at www.lulu.com.
Judith chose a career path in the field of educational technologies, and holds a Masters degree in education studies.
For the past twenty years Judith has worked in the self-publishing field as a writer, editor and typesetter, assisting many authors and writers’ groups to achieve their publishing dreams. Although taking time out during 2010 to concentrate on her own writing, she continues to provide mentoring and encouragement to new writers.
Judith is currently working on a series of books about the Australian coastline as well as compiling a selection of her own poetry for publication. She has already started work on the sequel to her novel, Dangerous Legacy.
Judith lives in the Sunshine Coast hinterland with her husband. Apart from her passion for writing, her interests include travel and exploring other cultures and lifestyles (from which she gains much inspiration for her writing), the empowerment of women, community volunteering, collecting fine china, and breeding and racing thoroughbred horses.
