A beautiful, sensitive and slightly melancholic short story about how to refine a life and deep felt values. Painting a self-portrait as a metaphor for the bigger questions in life: who we are and what background we have. Trying to see and understand what has shaped and made us as a human being. A person in the making, described as "being kitsch", coming to terms with ones own life and behavior and learning to deal with the flaws and imperfections of it, but also how others revive us in their memory once they remember the first impression they had.
