Hello!
My name is Lauren C. Mayher and I am the author of The Legend of Darien: A Hero Rises. I graduated from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in New Brunswick with a B.A. in Communication and Psychology. I currently reside in southern New Jersey right outside of Philadelphia.
I started writing A Hero Rises in my senior year of college and finished up the following fall. I will have three other books in this series that follows the adventures of Darien the Dragonslayer.
I am also a HUGE Star Wars fan and the original trilogy was one of the first experiences that made me want to be a writer and creator of a new world. If you are familiar with the movies, you might be able to see their influences in my work.
