Biography

Best Selling author, Leonard Wise was born and raised in Hudson, New York. He served in the 82nd Airborne Paratroopers for three years. After service he received his FCC engineering license and worked in radio for a while. He then studied writing at Manhattan’s New School of Social Research. He wrote a western script which was optioned by Universal, so he decided to try Hollywood. He has authored six novels including Diggstown which was made into a major motion picture by MGM studios. Also a novel entitled: CENTER STREET which made the L.A. Times Best Sellers list. Meanwhile, he taught Introduction to Fiction at UCLA. Leonard is also an established artist.
