LaDonna Smith
Biography
LaDonna M. Smith is a native of Maryland. However she has also briefly resided in Philadelphia and Indianapolis. She has worked many paid and unpaid positions in broadcast, print, media and other professional positions throughout the
DC/MD/VA areas (better known as the DMV) including
Baltimore.
Although she has always had a passion for writing and would as a child get in trouble for staying up late past her bed time writing, she began writing her first book I Married Satan in 2007. The book began as a magazine article to get revenge on her husband but the book ended up causing LaDonna to do introspection and forgive her ex-husband, instead of seeking further revenge. It was later submitted and rejected by a publisher. LaDonna began selling copies of her book to friends and family and soon she had her first book signing (May 26,2011) where she sold 26 books in less than four hours. This encouraged LaDonna to continue to write, create and produce quality info-tainment products and before long she was creating her other upcoming books; writing for online magazines; creating, hosting and executing live events; and production for various other media outlets, to include radio broadcast. LaDonna has also host and produced her own tv show (The Mix TV Show); radio show (The Mix Radio Show); and is the owner of her own magazine (G.R.A.Y. Magazine).
Additionally, she has served on the Board of Directors as the
Events Coordinator Black Writer’s Guild of Maryland; and as President and Vice President of the Maryland Writer’s Association (Baltimore Chapter).
