Lani Steele was born and raised near the sea in Southern California. Except for a brief period in the African desert, she has always been near the sea; this book is a result of 7 wonderful years snorkeling the reefs of the 7000 beautiful islands of the Philippines. A teacher and writer of poetry, short stories/mysteries, travel and educational articles, Steele is working on a poetry mss. called "Twenty-first Century Theology".
This is a humorous, and colorful collection of poems about the oceans around the Philippines in the form of a book of hours. 80% of the proceeds from this book will go to organizations working to preserve the wildlife of these regions.
