One of the best horror novels I have read in a very long time! As soon as I finished this I bought the proceeding two books. The author accomplishes something few can - he makes you love the antagonist despite their disgusting, immoral crimes.

Loved this book just as much as the first. With this book Mr. Straatman firmly establishes one of the protagonists as an antagonist as well and does so brilliantly. All his characters are deep and rich, well thought out and he brings them all to life wonderfully.

A brilliant ending to a fatastic trilogy that I was very sad to see end. I haven't been this enthralled in a series of books for quite some time! I'd love to see more adventures with Elizabeth and Cynara and really hope Mr. Straatman may one day revisit these rich characters.
