Biography

Laura is the author of several books on writing, as well as multiple short stories and the Amazing but True series. Originally from Southern California, Laura has lived most of her life on the West Coast. Her love for imagination and make believe has fueled her passion for writing. Laura loves having fun while learning, which she incorporates into her writing.

Laura enjoys writing about writing. She loves sharing her knowledge and love of writing and story telling with others. She is the Founder and Editor of The Starving Writer, an on-line writer’s resource. (www.thestarvingwriter.com)

Laura is now teaching e-courses, which she is very excited about. This gives her a way to directly affect peoples lives through interactive course work.

Laura currently lives in Milwaukie, OR with her husband, two boys, two cats and a dog.
