  • Fires of Prophecy: The Morcyth Saga Book Two on Nov. 05, 2010

I read this book, and all the others after I got the first one free from B&N. I enjoyed it enough to keep reading the series. In fact I could not stop reading and spent several late nights with James and Miko. The biggest criticism I have is the grammar and spelling and overall editing. That does not, however, keep the book from being one I recommend.

I enjoyed it as those before it. I enjoy the characters and the interactions. Pratt pulls you in so you live in that world. It's not always a nice place, but it's a good read.

I love the book but wished there was more detail about how James learned his magic. He seemed to merelyy think of a spell and know how to do it. I actually look forward to reading the entire series all over again!

Loved the series. Read it all in very few days. Well worth the small, small fee and the time to visit with James and Miko. :)
  • The Mists of Sorrow: The Morcyth Saga Book Seven on Nov. 05, 2010

I loved the entire series and wish it didn't end. I will look forward to other offerings by this author. I'm glad at the end James was given a chance to go home. It was very clear where he wanted to be and that he was not just stuck there. There could have been a bit more of the romance. He thought a lot about his lady, but was in love with her after only a few meetings. That's less realistic than all the magic. :)
