Biography

Author Lea Wait lives in Maine, where she writes both the Agatha-finalist Shadows Antique Print Mystery series in which antique print dealer and college professor Maggie Summer solves crimes, and historical novels for ages 8-14 set in nineteenth century Maine. Lea has been an antique print dealer herself since 1977. She adopted her four daughters (now grown) as a single parent, and is now married to artist Bob Thomas and the grandmother of eight.
