Len Diamond

Biography

The novel is his first and probably last venture into fiction; he's really a technical/marketing writer.

An old-school writer (he still hyphenates most compound nouns) who can make a point with polite language and believes correct grammar makes meaning clearer. He blogs about marketing and about being old, both with attitude. If you need something written -- ad copy, a white paper, an article ghosted -- he’d like to work for you.

Smashwords Interview

When did you first start writing?
It must have started early, because I can't remember not doing it. Fiction is a recent addition, but working with words has been a constant.
Who are your favorite authors?
I've always liked William Saroyan's stuff. I'm not sure I can explain why; something about his sympathy for people, I think. I'm more about animals, though.

In this humorous novel, an undistinguished young man inadvertently becomes a crusader when he impulsively hijacks an Animal Regulation Department truck and frees the animals it’s carrying. Actions of others lead to his arrest, and a trial where, with the help of a dirty, rotten, but gratifying trick the hero is acquitted, and the case for Animal Rights is made.
