Linzé Brandon

Publisher info

Linzé Brandon is the pen name of a South African project manager who taught herself to read before she went to school. This started a lifelong love affair with books.
She still loves to read - anything considered romance - but also enjoys amateur sleuth and extreme science fiction books. When she is not working or writing, she likes to do cross stitch embroidery, fly fishing, painting abstracts in mixed media, archery and watching Manchester United play. She is captain of a team of soccer enthusiasts on Superbru, and love the interplay with the guys during the season.
Her favourite time of year is NaNoWriMo, simply because she loves the challenge and the camaraderie of her fellow local and online Wrimos.

Smashwords Interview

When did you first start writing?
I wrote my first story, a romance between a professional nature photographer and his research assistant, in 2001. It was never published, but it still has a soft spot in my heart.
What's the story behind your latest book?
The Nations of Peace is a fantasy romance series, made up of five different sub-series. There is a 12 year gap between Keeper of the Dragon Sword (A Dragon Master novel) and the story that I had intended to be the third book, a Future Master novel. Then I got the idea to resolve the serial murders that occurred in Keeper of the Dragon Sword to bridge the gap. That story became Michael's Mystery, the second book of the Dragon Masters.

A reflection of our modern times, where people should be more aware of who they let into their lives. The story draws you in, and while you expect something to happen, the ending is still a surprise. Well done, Ms Botman.
