Until I read Kicking Eternity, I'd forgotten the stomach-churning feeling of getting the guy I'd wanted so badly - only to realize it was a mistake. Ann Lee Miller captures the dilemmas of love, difficult choices, and mistakes. And the reminder to pray. Although it seems somewhat predictable in the beginning, the twists life throws keep it from being tied up neatly with a bow - and Kicking Eternity is difficult to put down once you become involved with the characters. (I read it in two days because I couldn't put it down!) The September release of The Art of My Life is a long time to wait to follow two of the characters whose tangles aren't resolved in Kicking Eternity.
