Lori Dillon

Biography

Lori has asked hundreds of customers “Would you like fries with that?” at a fast food drive-thru and filled countless popcorn buckets at a local movie theatre. After graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration, she worked as a graphic designer for fourteen years for the power company, occasionally venturing into nuclear power plants for her job (yes, nuclear plants need graphic designers, too). Once she decided to stay home with the rug rats (who are now semi self-sufficient tweeners), she found she needed a creative outlet besides finger painting and making ‘mud stew’ in a bucket with water, grass, and acorns. That’s when the writing bug bit her—hard—and she’s been writing ever since.

Lori lives in Virginia with her engineering geek/hero husband, two kids who test her sanity on a daily basis, a dog named Hokie (named after the Virginia Tech Hokies, of course), and various other critters of the furred and finned variety.

She loves to hear from her readers. Please stop by and visit her at http://www.loridillon.com.
