I have been telling myself stories since I was a small child. How else was I to overcome my fear of that crocodile under my bed and jump down and run to the loo?
I know, I know but it worked and still does if something wakes me gasping in the middle of the night. Which is not often now thanks to my beloved.
When I wasn't fearlessly vanquishing villains I also found the ability to invent stories useful to entertain myself in dentist waiting rooms and the like. And during my years as a studio potter when I spent many hours alone except for the clay and the story in my head, it helped people my world.
Okay, okay, but I didn't know about audio books. I was busy, what with the pots and raising babies. I still don't get out much but I'm always entertained.
Anyway, some years ago I decided to write one of my stories down. Oh dear. It didn't go well. So I lobbed off to study creative writing at Queensland University of Technology. Now I'm back, armed with an undergrad degree in Creative Writing and a Masters in Romance Writing.
I hope you enjoy the stories I write for you. I have put my heart and a lot of hard work into them because before ever I was a writer I was a lover of good stories. Enjoy.

Take a woman who cooks like a goddess. Add a lawyer whose voice sends tingles up her spine. Stir them together with a pub in the middle of the Australian outback to make an interesting mix. Sprinkle in a villain who will stop at nothing to hit the big time and someone putting dope in the dinner. Season it all with a visit from Mother and a handful of elusive opals and you're Cooking Up Trouble.
