Louise Inglis


Biography

Louise Inglis (1970 - ) resides in Auckland, New Zealand with her husband Michael, and their two sons, Matthew and Kevin. Kevin, currently seven years of age, is profoundly affected by autism. He also has a severe intellectual disability and epilepsy.

Louise has long enjoyed journalling. Snippets from her journal shared with others prompted suggestions that she should write a book. Happiness in his eyes: a story of love and disability is the result of those suggestions.

Louise teaches Suzuki Flute as an itinerant teacher at Saint Kentigern School, Remuera, Auckland.

Passionate about tramping, Louise delights in opportunities to explore New Zealand's spectacular mountains and bush.
