  • The Torans of Andor 'Out of Time' on Nov. 28, 2013

Read a friends copy and decided to buy my own. I loved it. Now it's in my ereader. Wonderful to follow Peter from when he finds the jewel. He thought it was worth a lot of money. By the end of the story I don't think money meant anything to him, he'd learnt there are more precious things. He thought he had no courage but he found courage and managed to do what was right. Lovely gentle story. Lots of meaning. Will save it for the weekend to read again.
  • The Torans of Andor 'Out of Time' GRAPHIC NOVEL on Nov. 28, 2013

Had to grab the graphic novel as well as the text only version. I was a bit off when imagining the characters but I guess that's why we have an imagination. It's wonderful, the pictures are really good and the story takes you places that are facinating. Even when Peter is badly injured he manages to keep going as he blames himself for everything that's happened. Good easy read. Good strong characters.
  • A Vampire in the Vatican 'Brotherhood of the Sword' on Nov. 28, 2013

WOW this was totally different than the last book I read by this author. Great story and spooked me a little, just a little. :) Fascinating characters, just like ordinary people. Nicely written, I found it easy to follow which was relaxing. Yes it was funny and sad. Very sad. I didn't click to what was going to happen so it surprised me. Story is believable, lots of mystery and the end was terrific, it just wrapped it all up.
  • Pulchritudinous Book 1 on Jan. 09, 2014

Bringing these stories into one book makes in so much easier. Very thoughtful author, thank you. I'm also looking forward to book 2.
  • That Moment... on Feb. 27, 2014

I agree this is an incredible book made up of true short stories. A wonderful read that makes you look at things differently in your life. I was amazed at every story. Highly recommended.
  • Pulchritudinous Book 2 on July 11, 2014

Well worth the wait for Book 2. Yes, like Kevin we see that Puck is getting older. Such loyalty from Willow in this story and poor Puck is in trouble once again. Great lessons as with the first book and I enjoyed not just the story which is wonderful but the pictures too. I thought the last picture was fantastic. Looking forward to Book 3 with great anticipation.
  • Nun with a Gun on March 01, 2015

Wonderful to read about Inspector Martinelli again, this time in Bavaria. I agree with the other reviewers but I think the priest was a villain, he didn't have to do all the things he did. Definitely two love stories, one from the past and one in the present and the vampire stuff was great. A very sad and emotional story which I thoroughly enjoyed. Some funny parts which made me laugh but they were serious situations, well written and well put across. I agree that the title seemed a bit strange but it was perfect and I couldn't think what else you would call this book. I loved the character Wilhelm, I found him very sweet and likeable. Wonderful story from start to finish and I'm looking forward to reading the next in this series.
  • A Crack in Time/The Beast Within on March 01, 2015

WOW what a wonderful story. Very different from the other books I've read from this author. She writes a great mix. I don't get the abridged version as it's a full story on its own but after finding out it comes with an alternate ending later I'll definitely pick up a copy of that too. This young man from Oxford goes to London for a month. He arrives with nothing and has to survive somehow. Another quite emotional story and the end did surprise me, I wasn't expecting that.
