WOW this was totally different than the last book I read by this author. Great story and spooked me a little, just a little. :) Fascinating characters, just like ordinary people. Nicely written, I found it easy to follow which was relaxing. Yes it was funny and sad. Very sad. I didn't click to what was going to happen so it surprised me. Story is believable, lots of mystery and the end was terrific, it just wrapped it all up.

Bringing these stories into one book makes in so much easier. Very thoughtful author, thank you. I'm also looking forward to book 2.

I agree this is an incredible book made up of true short stories. A wonderful read that makes you look at things differently in your life. I was amazed at every story. Highly recommended.

Well worth the wait for Book 2. Yes, like Kevin we see that Puck is getting older. Such loyalty from Willow in this story and poor Puck is in trouble once again. Great lessons as with the first book and I enjoyed not just the story which is wonderful but the pictures too. I thought the last picture was fantastic. Looking forward to Book 3 with great anticipation.

Wonderful to read about Inspector Martinelli again, this time in Bavaria. I agree with the other reviewers but I think the priest was a villain, he didn't have to do all the things he did. Definitely two love stories, one from the past and one in the present and the vampire stuff was great. A very sad and emotional story which I thoroughly enjoyed. Some funny parts which made me laugh but they were serious situations, well written and well put across. I agree that the title seemed a bit strange but it was perfect and I couldn't think what else you would call this book. I loved the character Wilhelm, I found him very sweet and likeable. Wonderful story from start to finish and I'm looking forward to reading the next in this series.
