I have been reading this whole series since getting the first one free through B&N. This book, along with the entire series is well worth the read. I will say I do not read much fiction, let alone fantasy, but I haven't been able to put these books down. Each book builds upon each other to build the main character and the world he is in. I would recommend this series to anyone who wants to enjoy just reading a fantastic fantasy story.
Really good zombie short story. Well worth the read, especially for free.
As it states at the end of this story, this is one of ten episodes. Each new episode will be released on the last Monday of the month. The second one is out, and I plan on buying it now.
An enjoyable read. The lead character Mathew is very well written and easy to connect with. The story is very exciting.
The only thing I would change is to tighten up some of the times of confilct after he has started jumping, and expand upon the epilogue.
You can preview half of this book online before you buy. I did that and immediately bought it once the preview ran out.
If you like the zombie genre, you will enjoy this book. Exactly what you want and expect from a zombie apocalypse book. There is a good variety of characters that are all strongly constructed. The story moves along very well, and with such a low price you can't beat it.
I can't turn down a zombie novel, so fortunately this one doesn't disappoint. This book reminds me more of the Walking Dead series, where the focus is on the rebuilding of society and the people's journey through it, although their is still plenty of action. I will definitely read the next one.
An very enjoyable read. In the second book of this series, the characters make a further push to reclaim a normal life. I enjoy the progress of the story and the characters. My only criticism would be that the relationship between the male female characters seems to have taken on an action movie cliché where the guys are bad ass and the girls are the loving dames waiting at home. It doesn't take away from the book, but it was something I noticed. I will certainly be reading the third book though.
