This was a fast paced plot that at times leaves you breathless as you race with the characters. It hooked me from the first and I enjoyed every word. Although I enjoyed it, I did feel a little cheated at the end - I wanted more!! I'd love to see more on this world and how things fare in the future.

I'd love to see some more of this world and these characters. Fast paced, this story draws you into the action and holds you until the end.

Alaska isn't the setting for many books, which makes this one unusual to start with. What will draw you in is the author's usual excellent characterisations and well paced storytelling that holds your interest until the end. I note with pleasure that this is the first of a series and I can't wait for the others!

Red Riding Hood has been retold a number of times, but this is one of my favorites. JA Marlow has a knack for characterisation and that shows again here. You can see the fairy story that we've known all our lives, but it has been extremely well taken and put in a different setting that explores other aspects and in some places turns it on its head. I thoroughly enjoyed this and would unhesitatingly recommend it.
