Marian L. Thorpe
Indie writer of young-adult adventure, short stories and verse; editor, reviewer, part-time student of archaeology, artist, birder, walker, cook. I explore landscapes of the past and present, and of the mind, and experiment with how the digital world allows art, writing and knowledge to be shared and disseminated in non-traditional ways.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, I do. It was actually a play...about astronauts on the moon falling into a pond, except there shouldn't have been water on the moon, of course. I was about ten, I think.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
No. I learned to read at an extremely young age (about 3) and have read voraciously ever since.
