Mars Q

Biography

Mars Q is a biologist, freelance writer, barely employed teacher, secular humanist, and submission grappling aficionado. Don't let the foul language and vitriol deter you. If you get through the early chapters, you'll see the method in the madness.

I'd like to personally express my utter gratitude for all the kind reviews. Believe it or not, I don't know any of these people personally; my friends are either too lazy or disinterested in serious non-fiction. I wish I could say that the 8 years I gave to this project has paid off but I barely float above the poverty line, and I've no doubt closed many doors by choosing to independently publish my work. Hopefully, the altruism of strangers continues to give my scientific findings a chance to gain traction. Keep spreading the word if you believe I've created something special. Cheers :)

Smashwords Interview

ARE YOU "RACIST"?
No, I'm a speciesist; races aren't real units of evolution. Besides, I love everyone equally; I just don't have a lot of love to go around.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO DO THIS?
At first, it was just scientific wonderment. I made the connection and I was super excited about the possibilities. The magnitude of the ideas really eroded my confidence during the early years, and then life kind of crushed my spirit the rest of the way. I only rebounded so to speak over the last year or so. At the same time, I’d be lying if I said fame and fortune never fuelled my passion for this project but the reality is that I am nothing without readers to support my work. I am nothing. The people around me make me a success or failure. I can think I’m a great writer or a great person but that won’t put food on the table.
