I don't know what the reviewer(?) below is talking about. I had no trouble with the book.
I always listen to books on tape while I am driving to work and usually it is some type of cop book or murder mystery, so when I got a Kindle for my birthday, I was glad that my husband also bought me three Kindle books. I am especially glad he bought (free actually) Last Killer Standing. I must say that the plot twist at the end is one the most unusual I have read. I figured out early on who the primary killer was, but the ultimate conclusion was a surprise. Coburn handled that surprise with skill and a little bit of humor thrown in for good measure. Naturally the bad guy was thoroughly unlikable and his character and the rest of the characters were well developed. Apparently Coburn is going to transform the book into an audio book and I look forward to that. I also read on his website, which is listed in the front of the book, that this is only the first of a series and I can’t wait for the second book to appear. I will definitely read that when it does.
