How do you approach cover design?
The cover for Ella's Gifts was actually a prize from "The Heart of the West" writing contest. The designer was Kelli Ann Morgan. She was great to work with!
What are your five favorite books, and why?
Wow, that's a tough one. I would say "Hopeless" by Colleen Hoover. The way that woman writes a twist! Whew. She can make me laugh and cry in the same chapter sometimes. Second would be "Wallbanger" by Alice Clayton. She has wicked smart wit that one. Third would be "Beautiful Bastard" by Christina Lauren. Those two know how to write HOT scenes. Fourth would be "If I Were You" by Lisa Renee Jones. Two words, window scene. The intricate twists that she created for this series is amazing. Last, but not least, would be "Nothing Left to Lose" by Kirsty Moseley. This was one of the first books that I read in a long line of novels and it has never left me.
