I retired after 24 years of teaching science and math in secondary schools and college. During that time I taught over 5000 students and came to know them and their problems well. I wrote all my own worksheets and tests, and, in desperation, even reading materials for my classes. I also took pictures and wrote for the newspaper for 17 years including a weekly nature column.
Josh’s life was good. His best buddy lived down the street. They grew up together, went to school together. Helping each other out with their chores made them fast and fun. Camping out was always a high point of any season. Then the accident happened, or was it an accident?
