I believe the author has plenty of talent. However, I think it (talent) needs to grow more than it needs polishing. Having read the author's blog, I expected a harder edge to the narration. It seemed that the author was holding back, or perhaps more concerned with a marketable tome. I feel that much was made over the wrong things, and that the best insights accidentally truncated. I believe the author can do much better, hopefully she will try again and again till she is pleased.
