Not the greatest Jo Beverley I have read--but I enjoyed it. Good for Halloween--but I was a bit disappointed at the ending. Somehow it just seemed too hurried to me. Of course, I am not a writer only an omnivorous reader and I can always think of other endings or entanglements--but would never dip my toe into the pool.
