Biography

The author has worked in the past as a store clerk, fruit basket arranger, ICU nurse, and operator in a junk mail factory, to mention a few. Currently she lives on a one acre organic farm in Iowa, and gardens, writes fiction, raises healthy chickens and beautiful granddaughters. With a life-long interest in historical fiction and esoteric subject matter, the fusion of the two seemed a pleasurable and natural evolution. Writing also seems to be a genetic fit, as the family legend states that the author's maternal great-grandmother was first cousin to Nathaniel Hawthorne, or so the story goes...
