Biography
Samantha Blye lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In her working life, Sam is a ER nurse and a dance teacher, two jobs which allow her to see human beings at their most vulnerable and at their most seductive. The interplay of these two states, the boundaries between the two cases—pain and fear and need on one hand, attraction and enchantment and mystery on the other--are the driving forces which inform her writing.
Through her stories, Samantha hopes to explore the effects that we all have upon one another, even unwittingly, and the way that our sexual desires and activities are shaped and guided by the actions of the world around us. With the stories, Sam also tries to explore how those sexual desires and actions, once sparked and allowed to run unfettered, may impact the world in turn, fostering freedom, satisfaction and delight.
