Points of English usage are clearly explained and are supported with interesting examples, which make them easy to remember. The comprehensive contents page makes what you’re looking for easy to find and the editor’s test at the end is fun to gauge what you’ve learnt or already know. Love the section on homophones. When one is proofreading some of them don’t always jump out, but linger in your subconscious and a sentence or two later you say ‘What was that?’ I certainly recommend this great book for improving the use of the English language.
