K. K. Harris

Biography

I am a wife and a mother of three children. I am a complex soul if I had to describe myself. Why, some may ask, mainly because I'm a jack of a lot of trades. Not all by any means just quite a few... Not only do I enjoy reading, writing, I also enjoy praise dancing. I am currently the dance coordinator at my church. The complete opposite of the characters and themes of my books but I guess that could only be described as writing what I know or better yet what I knew in a past life. Come take a ride with me on this rocky road of literacy.

Oh my damn am I the first to write a review... Hot damn... Well let me just say I love this book and waited forever for it to be available for purchase. I read it when it was live only and then I came in a year or two later than u wrote it. Either way I saw a side in King that might be likable, just a little. Gotta wait until u release his story before I'm certain. Great job as usual.
  • Dark Facade (Book Two) on Feb. 20, 2013

This one rendered me utterly speechless because of the extreme detail into an unknown world. I love all of your books but this series has me on the edge of my seat anticipating the next one. I feel for Maxine though because she has been let down entirely too much and the put downs just keep coming. The hatred that's starting to build up within her is going to be catastraphic. I feel for Phillippe but he could have prevented it from getting as far is it did. I understand he has certain fears when coming from his garbage truck juice toting father but the buck must stop somewhere. He has f'ed up so bad right now by letting another man violate her like that and break her already fragile spirit. On the other hand I can't blame it all on him because she knew the results of her actions were going to be bad but she kept at it anyway so... Ooops I may have talked too much so let me close this review with a good job and I can't wait to read the next one.
