Biography
I am fascinated with the question “What if?” and as such I write mainly in the speculative fiction genres, including science fiction, fantasy, and paranormal. I wonder what would happen if our world brushed up against another world and what those results might be.
I love adventures of all sorts and am currently planning my next big adventures. I failed spectacularly at completing the ironman this year and am hoping to make my big comeback next year.

This book was a fast paced easy read. I felt like it had a lot of substance and i totally sucked me in. I enjoyed it and I felt like Janelle reacts like a real person would to a lot of the events, she freaks out and tries to get out of what everyone tells her has to happen, not like the heroes in some books where they just handle everything thrown at them.

I almost stopped reading the sample because the voice in the beginning felt a bit heavy handed and to me Kate seemed a bit like a spoiled brat, but I kept reading and the author found her voice.
After the beginning the voice smoothed out and the characters really deepened.
So then I bought the thing because I couldn't stop reading. I needed to know what happened to this family and these characters. The world building itself is fascinating I love the history that goes into this world.
