  • Mage 5: The Time Guardian on Oct. 30, 2011

I am sorry, i did not understand the disjointed why it was written. Perhaps its just me, I am sure someone else may find it perfectly fine. Was interesting and exciting until it jumped stories .

I couldn't stop reading well into the wee hours of the morning, just HAD to finish it! Excellent book, I hope he continues it as a series.. I love it when I discover a author whose writing I like This is what makes reading worth it. Good job , Joe. Bella

  • Holding Their Own II: The Independents on Sep. 24, 2013

Its the second book of the series, I'm enjoying most of it but here as I quote directly from the book, one paragraph "you think just because I commanded men who carried a rifle for a living that I’m nothing but an old warhorse? Do you honestly believe my use of foul language shows I am an uneducated brut? I have a P.H.D. in political science from Yale, Bishop." I am afraid to say its just one of many misspelled words. Should take a little more time for editing, son.

This story grabs you right at the beginning and holds on with every fingernail as you ride the intense emotional events.. Although teenagers are not easy to understand, she captures the essence of their turmoils and it works for this story. I was disappointed that there isn't a continued story ready to read as the ending leaves the reader holding their breath. Hurry up!
