Nick Dager

Biography

Nick Dager is Editor & Publisher of Digital Cinema Report the world’s largest, most influential publication devoted to digital cinema. For almost a decade the website has been visited by an average of 30,000 unique visitors a month from 193 countries.

Dager has worked as a journalist virtually his entire adult life. Born and raised in Ohio, he attended college in Illinois and then worked for several years as a newspaper writer/photographer in suburban Chicago. He moved to New York City to attend NYU’s Graduate School of Film & Television and then returned to journalism fulltime.

Dager has reported on film and television production for more than thirty years. He was Senior Editor at Millimeter magazine, Founding Editor of Post magazine and Editor-in-Chief of AV Video magazine. He started the technology column for Weekly Variety and was a contributing columnist for Boxoffice magazine.

He has given speeches and moderated panel discussions at numerous industry events around the world and has been interviewed by publications around the world including The New York Times, Business Week, The Boston Globe, MovieMaker Magazine and the Chartered Financial Analyst of India.

He has also published poetry and written two Hardy Boys Mysteries for Simon & Schuster.
