Biography
Tiheasha Beasley, Founder of the One Modest Chick Foundation, Author, and Christian Women's Lifestyle freelance writer is a graduate of Kankakee High School and received her degree in Political Science from Western Illinois University. She now resides in Chicago with her husband David Beasley and their son Nehemiah.
In 2009, her heart for women led her to start Banner of Modesty, a non-profit organization that encourage women and young girls to stand out and not conform to this world. Now she uses One Modest Chick {formally known as Banner of Modesty} as Foundation, which provides scholarship opportunities and awards to women looking to promote gospel centered programs.
Tiheasha believes that in order to have an effective change in this generation, more positive leaders in the church and community should adopt the great commission (Matthew 28) where it tells us to go out and make disciples of Jesus Christ.
She desires to use her passion for writing to continue to glorify God and build up this generation of women and young girls!
