He has been married to the same bride for almost 59 years. They have 2 sons and 1 daughter, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is now enjoying family, writing, traveling around USA in his RV, and landscaping.
He is a Graduate of Texas A&M University. He was a 1st lieutenant in the US Army including duty in Korea. It took him 27 years to advance from engineer to vice president in Allis-Chalmers, a manufacturer of industrial and agricultural equipment and retired 5 years later. He owned a MicroAge Computer Center for 10 years and retired for the third time.
