A moving short story that captures the innocent thoughts and feelings of adolescence well. The shift in tone towards the end of the story seems unavoidable, as Epi's curious nature inevitably leads to the sudden twist and a melancholic ending that leaves a bittersweet taste in the mouth.

I hate to say negative things about people's work, but this story is in serious need of copy editing before it can be reviewed. It contains numerous structural, grammatical and spelling errors. As such it was hard to read which means understanding the story is next to impossible. It's odd since the extended description doesn't have any of these problems. Perhaps a new version could be uploaded soon that fixes these problems.

An excellent resource for online publishing. Yes, it's tedious going through all the steps, but once you've done it once the template can be applied for all future work. The great thing about this guide is that it makes sure your book is readable across multiple platforms. Make sure you read and follow this guide before you upload anything - your readers will thank you!

I enjoyed this story. It has interesting characters and is well written and fast paced. It could be extended into a decent novel, which would give more time to build the suspense and mystery without sacrificing the quickfire nature of the story.
