  • A Vampire in the Vatican 'Brotherhood of the Sword' on Jan. 02, 2014

I've read this book three times and I haven't finished with it yet. Nice and easy to read, very realistic and I like the characters. I agree its both funny and sad in parts with lots of surprises especially at the end.

A wonderful collection, especially the first. Loved them all.
  • The Mango Tree and Other Stories on Jan. 03, 2014

I have no children of my own but I have 6 nieces and 7 nephews all under the age of 10. I thought these stories were good but the last was a little scarey. I'll try it out on them tomorrow.
  • Red on Jan. 03, 2014

I think my nieces will like this one very much, but my nephews may screw up their noses. lol. Very nicely written story.
  • Uncle Rocky, Fireman - Book 1 - Fire! on Jan. 03, 2014

I enjoyed it, especially the illustrations but it would scare the hell out of the kids in my family. They know the drill so that's ok.
  • Pulchritudinous Book 1 on Jan. 15, 2014

Just found out the whole book came out in one file. Great! My family will love this when I read it to them again. This small boy has become very popular with my nieces and nephews, and of course the rabbit Lepus. Looks great with the individual covers for each part left in.
  • That Moment... on Jan. 15, 2014

I have to admit I kept saying WOW as I was reading this book. Very difficult to put down once you start reading even though it is made up of individual stories. You just keep saying, "I'll read one more" and before you know it the books finished.
  • In Extremis on Jan. 15, 2014

Read this and loved it. There's nothing better to give a tingle to the spine than a great 'undead' story. This is one of those stories. I would have loved to read a longer version too.
  • Pulchritudinous Book 2 on July 31, 2014

Book 2 has been just as exciting as book 1. It was a winner with my nieces and nephews as they were familiar with most of the characters. What a terrific adventure Puck and Willow went on. The kids think Puck is very brave and did the right thing. They are learning a lot from these books about the rights and wrongs in everyday life. My sister is very pleased that I found these books for her children.
  • The Worm In A Red Sock on July 31, 2014

That was very funny. My sisters kids are going to love this story when I show it to them. Pity the pics weren't coloured in as the drawings are great but overall you have to give it 5 stars.
  • Nun with a Gun on Feb. 16, 2015

I knew this book was coming out a few months ago and have been waiting patiently. It was worth the wait. Terrific story, I think the Inspector feels a lot of guilt which has carried over from a vampire in the Vatican and has made it a quest to kill vampires. Love the nun, she's really cool and gives the Inspector a lot of cheek. Yes the grave digging bits were great and the over all story flowed nicely. The royal vampires are looking for the nazi gold as well and the Inspector needs to find it first. A big surprise here. It's actually two love stories I think and it is emotional as you move through the story. This is another book I will be reading again and again.
  • Beware.....The Moon is Full on May 02, 2015

Top horror story. I enjoyed this one.
  • Grave Misgivings on May 22, 2015

This is a book that was recommended to me. Very different and twisted stories. You aren't over reading one when you're thrown into the next. A great mix of short reads that gives you a shiver down your spine. Most enjoyable.
  • The Weekends of Sally Virtue. May & June on May 22, 2015

Talk about funny. This story is absolutely hilarious. Sally needs to move to another town or to a big city so she has more interesting stuff to do. I too thought the spider incident was hilarious, her mum obviously doesn't like the lady next door. The apple on the bus really made me laugh but I would say the golf incident was not her fault. Not a book to read when you're eating or drinking. After saying all that, it was a pleasure to read.
