What are some of your favorite books, and why?
Although I am totally against violence, one of my favorite fiction novels is The Godfather by Mario Puzo. I love the author's ability to establish his characters in such a way that the reader cares about what happens to them, even though the reader may not agree with their actions. I would heartily recommend it if you're looking to read a thrilling multi-generational saga with unexpected twists and turns.
My favorite nonfiction book is The Holy Bible. Kind of funny when you consider I love books about saints and then gangsters, huh? Lol. But I love The Holy Bible because it is full of stories of faith and inspiration, especially encouraging in the often harsh world (economy, wars, illnesses, etc.) we live in now. It reminds us that Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, never leaves us alone in any situation.
A slice-of-life short story of modern romance. Remember the old saying "if a tree falls and no one hears it, does it make a sound?" By the same token, if you tell yourself that you have a relationship, does that make it so? (A short read of apprx. 856 words.)
