Paul Anthony is the pseudonym of a man who has written a number of novels and a work of poetry as well as writing a collection of screenplays for television and film. A former detective, he lives in Cumbria in the north west of England.

Zoe Saadia has successfully defined the essence of historic fiction with her acclaimed work, The Cahokian. Exceptionally well researched and beautifully written, this book takes the reader on a journey back to an era prior to the discovery of America. Indeed, the tale begins much earlier and displays a remarkable blend of imagination and recorded fact. The voyage dissects relationships at an individual ‘micro’ level as the characters are painted onto the pages and unravel the story. But the clever part of this amazing piece of work is that the relationships between tribes and mini nations are also examined at the ‘macro’ level. But I won’t spoil the story for you other than to say this is a splendid piece of work that I highly recommend.
