Smashwords book reviews by Peter Grantham

  • The Sunflower That Roared on Nov. 01, 2012

A cute little story. I was distracted by the fact that Seed started out as male and became female.
  • The Anniversary on Nov. 30, 2012

I thought this story was beautiful. The gentle sadness at the core of the story made it sing.
  • Night Swimming on Dec. 01, 2012

Beautiful story. I agree with Susan. Please write more.
  • Downtime Warfare on Dec. 01, 2012

    Very good- simple and beautiful.
  • Declaration of Love on Dec. 01, 2012

    Lovely ;) - 2 and a half stars.
  • The Blacksmith and the Flower on Dec. 01, 2012

I enjoyed the pun at the end. Good stuff- Robert Bloch is groaning in his grave.
  • Plain and Simple on Dec. 01, 2012

    Cute poetry.

  • Twilight Lady #1 of 4 on Oct. 14, 2013

To be honest, I found the dialogue to be unrealistic. I felt you did a very good job of creating interest in the rest of the series, though.https://www.smashwords.com/static/img/star.pnghttps://www.smashwords.com/static/img/star.pnghttps://www.smashwords.com/static/img/star.png
  • Twilight Lady #2 of 4 on Oct. 14, 2013

You've expanded the characters you introduced in Part 1 very well. I found the story very involving and want to read more.
  • Cannibal Lovers (a flash fiction story) on Oct. 14, 2013

    Quite a pretty, creepy paragraph.
  • The Love Machine: The Erobotica Series (Novella One) on Jan. 23, 2014

'The Love Machine' is a very well-written novella. Because the story did not take place in a 'futuristic' setting I found it difficult to believe that two people could make such a complex machine. Though the writing was so strong that the implausibility of the AI didn't concern me very much.
  • Get Writing on Aug. 14, 2014

I would definitely recommend this book to inspiring writers looking to start and more established writers looking to start again.
