I was laughing out loud (yes--lol, literally) through this. Light and funny--very worth the read. It stopped short of the real terror of camping for the first timer: finding the facilities in the middle of the night. Maybe in Camp-romising Part 2?

Surprising. The author mercilessly throws his main character into conflict and plot twists without contrivance. It's refreshing to read a story where I wasn't one (or two) jumps ahead of the plot.

This was fun! I think children will like the repetition and the weird toppings. It definitely has a rhythm. Illustrations would really make this.
